Uncovering Asia will join with members of a companion conference, Journalism Asia, on Sunday evening, November 23, for a special event marking the UN-designated International Day to End Impunity. Attendees are invited to a candle-light vigil, walking from the conference hotel to nearby Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA), site of the 1986 People Power Revolt. The group will honor the hundreds of slain journalists in Asia and worldwide whose cases are still awaiting justice.
