Ye Naing Moe is the founding director and chief trainer of the Yangon Journalism School, which was founded in 2010. He has been training local journalists in Myanmar since 2003. Ye founded the Myanmar Press Award in 2009 together with his colleagues. He studied at the University of California at Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism as a visiting scholar in 2006-07. He worked for The Indochina Media Memorial Foundation (IMMF) as a trainer in the past.
