Tanja van Bergen (1961) is an Amsterdam based freelance journalist and trainer. She has a long track record in writing news, interviews and features, as well as being an editor. From 2006 on she taught journalism at the Hogeschool Utrecht, where she also helped reform the curriculum and implement skill-orientated education. In more recent years she worked as managing director of the Dutch-Flemish Association of Investigative Journalists, prior to establishing her own media practice.
